A Prayer on Thanksgiving Day - Nov 23, 2017

JCSC will observe Thanksgiving Day with Bhaktamara Stotra Paath.
Bhaktamara Stotra is the most famous of the Jain prayers.
It was composed by Acharya Manatunga. Bhaktamara stotra is gem of devotional Jain literature.

We pray that all the people of the world will avoid inflicting harm on animals and fellow human beings and practice nonviolence and compassion.
We express our sorrow at the suffering of all the turkeys and other animals that have died.
May peace and compassion grow in ourselves and extend to all around us.
